Flint's Road Rovers Fan Site

Introduction

Let me start off by telling you who I am. I am "Flint$" (my real name is not Flint, I just like it as a nickname). I am a Christian, gamer, artist, writer and video editor. My favorite color is Blue. I enjoy the hobbies and interests I do. I go to places like Youtube ("Flint2007" is my profile). 

Now onto the talk about the "Road Rovers". When I first saw a preview of the Road Rovers on Cartoon Network, I was like "Cool, I should check this out." That point of my life caused me to do everything I am doing now.

Since then, I was amazed how the show was. The comedy and character design were awesome! There were so many rememorable moments and hilarious parts. I really enjoyed the series. Little did I know that the show was already "canceled" because it first aired on Kids WB. I didn't hang around online forums or sites of the show (mainly because I didn't have the Internet until 2002) until they stopped showing it on Cartoon Network (I went to public places to use a PC). I was sad when the show got replaced unexpectedly.

I then started visiting online sites, printed off awesome pictures, and looking at other stuff. I started having LOTS of Road Rovers Dreams. Each one were awesome. That kept me going and reminding me of the show. Eventually, I started trying to find the episodes again.

A new beginning... 

After 6 years since 2000, I saw my first siting of some of the episodes on Youtube. Eventually, more episodes started being uploaded. Then the uploading paused. During that time, I managed to download all the episodes from the internet.  I knew that most people were dying to re-see the show again, so I helped the person who had already started uploading the episodes. I uploaded the remaining episodes. As a result, I helped a lot of people and got a lot of views.

 *Update: I no longer have episodes 9-13 on my Youtube Profile. I didn't have permission from Warner Bros. so I can't upload them.

But I didn't stop there. Not that I was unappreciative, but I was starting to get bored of just watching the episodes. I wanted to see how creative I could be. I made a couple of pictures and eventually started video projects like "Crank That - Road Rovers" (Check Videos Section). I just came up with that crazy idea overnight. I just did it just to be funny. I didn't expect to get so many views on Youtube. In January 2008, I had another dream. It wasn't an ordinary Road Rover Dream either, it somehow caused me to make another video showing appreciation for the show. It is called "Road Rovers - My Tribute (1 & 2)". It took longer than the first video but I got it done. I am very pleased with it. I loved how I put it together. I definitely played it a lot on my spare time and still do. After a while, another "vision/dream" caused me to make a 2nd version of it using the help of Sony Vegas. I am definitely glad I did, came out better in my opinion. Later in March 2008, I wanted to make another video but I wanted it to be different than the previous videos. I wanted it aimed at specific characters. I chose Hunter and Colleen. A perfect couple. So far, it's the longest project I ever worked on. It took careful planning and lots of free time in order for me to make it great. That video is done and named as "Road Rovers - Hunter and Colleen: Best friends". Very simple name without spoiling much.

Why did I make this site you might ask? Well, hard to believe, but I had another "dream" of owning one a couple months back, but I didn't take action right away, mainly because I was working on my last RR project. Well here it is, my first site. It may or may not be the last, but it's good to have a site to store all my data and express my thoughts on this show. I hope you are enjoying the site.

My future thoughts and Plans

Will this show ever come back? 

Well, even though it's been almost 12 years since the show first debuted and chances of it coming back are very slim, I still believe anything is possible as long as we believe, put our minds into things and never give up. Most people are giving up right now but no way am I giving up on this fight. We didn't deserve the treatment that happen over a decade ago.  My goal is to get what the fans deserve and that's getting this show back in some way. A DVD release of this show would also be nice.

That's about it so far, I will make more videos depending on what I come up with. I will always support this show, even if I have to do lots of videos. I am also drawing some pictures of the show. I hope I continue to be successful. I thank God for my talents. I really, really hope something good happens for our efforts on supporting this show. I really do.
